Monthly Motivation – Don’t hold back
May is well and truly over and I know I am a little late with my monthly motivation but better late than never they say. I have been having a few personal challenges over the past month and been working hard at rectifying them. I still post my
daily monthly motivation for myself as it helps me get to where I need to be.
The monthly motivation for May was:
Don’t hold back
For those who have never joined us here at Our Parallel Connection, welcome. We have decided this year to pick words each month that will help us achieve our goals and to stayed focused. We call them our “Monthly Motivation”. Sometimes I need to tell myself something time and time again until I finally believe it. So by creating a monthly motivation like ‘Don’t hold back’ and putting these words out there every day of the month, I am forcing myself to make a difference. Here is what we produced for the month of May:
After reading this every day in May, I am must admit I didn’t listen to my own words. I have held back. I have stopped myself from achieving my goals and I was afraid of fucking up. I have allowed negative thoughts in my daily living and struggled getting these thoughts out of my head. I posted ‘Don’t hold back’ every day in May but I was lying, mainly to myself. I was holding back, afraid to give it 100% just incase I failed and everyone would know. I think I have to come back to May later in the year.
