I am very excited as I am off to Bali this week for a well-earned family holiday. All I can focus on is the warm weather, cold mojito’s and enjoying my family’s company.
I am organised and have everything ready.
- Airline tickets
- Accommodation paid for
- Bags are packed
- Legs are waxed
- Hair has been naturalised – all blond and pink
- Rupiah in the wallet
Just when I think I’m ready I go into my bathers draw and see what looks like those good old comfy undies you just can’t throw away. When I put them on, my rock hard 20-year-old butt no longer looked so hot. It went from this:
Then I took a closer inspection. Who was I kidding. I didn’t have a 20-year-old hot looking arse, I had a 42-year-old slightly saggy sprinkled with a few dimples looking arse. Will I ever be bikini ready?
I go to a group personal training session 3-4 times per week. I run twice a week (well I haven’t in winter because it is dark and with everything that has happened lately – those bastards have put the fear in me). I think I eat pretty well, drink lots of water and over all have a pretty healthy life. So how come I never feel like I am bikini ready.
I have spent my life analysing every part of my body and no matter how many dimples I have, no matter how much my skin saggy and no how much it wobbles, I decided this summer I am going to be bikini ready. If a 20 year with a hot body looks at me and thinks I should be covering up, I am going to hold my head high and do a bomb in the pool and wet her hot body.
Now, I’m off to Bali tomorrow for a couple of weeks with my family – and I have bought 3 bikini’s just to prove my point. Hot or not – I am finally bikini ready.
